Merry Christmas from DePaul

I worked as a lead concept designer on Merry Christmas from DePaul, a collaborative stop-motion short created as a tribute to Animated holiday specials and Chicago’s traditionally decorated window displays. I developed many visual aesthetics for the film, as well as crafted practical aspects of the set, created choreography, and performed animated tests.

Below are some of my style guide pieces.

You’re Beautiful Music Video

Concept sketches and finished shots from the music video You’re Beautiful, animated for a client. The video centers around the importance of building self-esteem and community among middle-school aged girls, and promotes inclusivity, positivity, and tenacity.

The current video has not debuted as of now, but will be linked upon publication.

DEpaul game studio - the shadow pervades

I created many pieces to help shape the aesthetics of The Shadow Pervades, including ideas for shadow people, signs, home decor, sprite indicators, and art for specific locations. From these pieces, my team was able to create 3D models and decorative pieces for levels and locations within the game. For more information on my work within this project, click here!

Here are some concept paintings specifically exploring the idea of shadow/spirit corruption

Dorm - atmospheric concept art

DORM is the title of my senior film made throughout my 2019-2020 academic year at DePaul University. It is a short animated film in within the horror genre that concentrates on relatable feelings of paranoia and danger within a trusted place. It is currently running the festival circuit, therefore only the trailer is available to the public at this time. Below are pieces of concept art created in order to gain an understanding of settings and aesthetics.
